Our first Silken, our first show dog, and hopefully our foundation bitch.  Echo earned her Champion title in her very first weekend of showing, against 5 other Silkens and a large group of sighthounds.  She proceeded to earn her Grand Championship just 9 months later, in a show with a total of 10 Silkens entered.  By the end of her first year of showing, Echo had already earned her Emerald Grand Champion title and finished the year ranked as the #3 Silken Windhound, and the #1 female in the breed.  She has lovely movement and has been described as "floating around the show ring."  She has great substance and muscle for the breed.  Echo exhibits good lure drive, having competed several times in FastCAT, CAT, and lure coursing fun runs.  She is confident, biddable, and overall a joy be around.

Explanation of titles:

EGCH - UKC Conformation Emerald Grand Champion

'PR' - UKC Purple Ribbon - all 14 ancestors in the last three generations of a dog's pedigree were registered with UKC as the same breed

SPOT-ON - UKC Socialized Pet Obedience Test - earned by demonstrating good manners and basic training in a public setting

BFAST - Beginner ISWS DASH title earned by participating in FastCAT runs

ITD - Intermediate Trick Dog - second level title earned from Do More With Your Dog! by demonstrating tricks (Watch Echo's submission video for her Novice Trick Dog title)
